In her 10 years as the CFO and Vice President of Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau, Julie honed her expertise in budget development, cash forecasting models, and easy-to-understand financial statements. Before that, she spent nine years working in the areas of manufacturing, distribution, service and nonprofit overseeing accounting functions, performing cash flow analysis, and implementing effective cost-cutting methods. Julie draws upon her excellent communication skills, as well as the business strategy skills gained at all of her professional posts, to problem-solve and help our clients build a successful future.
Taking a big picture view of your finances, Julie will help you understand the “business” behind your company, reveal growth opportunities, identify efficiencies and create a strategic plan for your business success. During your work together, she’ll set strategic goals with you to improve cash flow and expand your business.
Julie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, earning her BBA in Finance. Since then, she has gone onto serve as a two term council member for the City of Bastrop. Prior community experience includes, serving on the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission. serving as a board member of YMCA of Bastrop, serving as an officer of CASA of Bastrop, Lee and Fayette County and serving as board chair for the Mamma Jamma Ride of Texas.
